Board of Directors

  1. Eric Day, President and Founder

Bobbi Canada finds Stay Positive important, as her family, like so many others, has been directly affected by cancer. Her oldest son is a ten year cancer survivor and remembers being scared and wondering what tomorrow would bring. Now retired, Bobbi enjoys spending time with her grandkids, golfing, and cheering on Butler Basketball.

Lisa Farley, an Assistant Professor in the College of Education at Butler University, met Eric soon after he came to Butler. Stay Positive represents this philosophy, and she is proud to be a part of an organization that not only promotes healthy thinking and living, but assists those who are in need during their most difficult times. In her free time, Lisa enjoys playing soccer, pickleball, riding bikes, and walking her dog, while spending time with friends and family.

  4. Deb Lecklider, Board Member

Deb Lecklider is an Associate Dean and Professor for the College of Education at Butler University. Deb met Eric when he was a student in her Perspectives in Leadership class at Butler. Over 300 students attended an event where Eric spoke about starting his Stay Positive organization. She has continued to support Eric and Stay Positive ever since.

Mark Minner serves as a managing director at FirstPerson, an Indianapolis-based benefits and people strategy advisory firm. In his free time, Mark serves as the voice of the Butler Bulldogs, calling the men’s basketball games on ESPN 1070, along with other key Butler sporting events.

  6. Steve Gayheart, Board Member
